The Fulton Police Sergeants and Patrol Officers recently settled a new three year agreement with wage increases of 8% over the term of the contract.  Prior to the wage increase in the first year, the wage scale adjusted by increasing the 10 year step by $500.  Other improvements included up to 12 hours sick leave annually to be used for sick child/children; the addition of step parents to the funeral leave benefit and language that limits the rotation of shift to no leass than 28-day work cycles. Negotiation team of Jeremy Leitzen and Csey Simpson were assisted by Labor Council Field Representative Dave Nixon.
