McLean County recently joined the handful of Labor Council units that proceeded to their third consecutive interest arbitration in order to obtain a fair and reasonable wage settlement.  As a result, Arbitrator Hill issued his award in late 2013 that included another substatial equity adjustment for the Sergeants in addition to two years of across the board salary increases for all unit employees of 2.875%.  The Employer's wage proposal for year one was 1.9% and it wasn't until the eve of the arbitration that they finally offered a meaningful equity adjustment for Sergeants.  The negotiations committee of Hadley Welsch, Jeremy Bradley, Matt Lane, Ian McWilliams and Glen Wagner were assisted by Becky Dragoo of the Labor Council in negotiations and arbitration.
