Ford County Deputies, Correctional Officers/Telecommunicators and Telecommunicators have executed a 3 year contract.  The agreement calls for wage increases in the amount of 2.5% for each year. Employees have agreed to begin paying towards their employee insurance coverage.  This bargaining unit was the last unit in Ford County to have 100% employer paid coverage. Beginning in fiscal year 2014, employees will pay 5% of the monthly single coverage premium, and 10% in fiscal year 2015. Employees will now receive up to $125 per year for the purchase of footwear.  Voluntary overtime will be distributed by seniority within each classification.  Changes were also made in the contract addressing and defining "Seniority", "Classification Seniority" and movement from one classification to another.
