After prolonged and sometimes contentious negotiations, the Officers, Sergeants and Lieutenants from the City of Streator have a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.  The negotiations concluded with the assistance of a Federal Mediator.  The three year Agreement, which expires on April 30, 2017 includes an 8% wage increase and an increase in the number of Personal Days.  Disciplinary suspensions can be appealed through the grievance procedure.  Both Personal Days and Sick Time are accrued at a rate of 12 hours per day.  The Bargaining Team of Jason Clift, Ken Hamann, Joel Hoffmeyer, Jordan Risley, Robert Sauers, Aaron Smith and Robert Wood were assisted by Labor Council Attorney Dan Mahoney and Field Representative Shawn Roselieb.
