By Shawn Roselieb, Field Representative - Friday, August 21, 2015

The Woodford County Patrol Sergeants and Deputies Unit recently reached a settlement on a four year Successor Agreement through mediation.  The team bargained for wage increases of 2% in each of the four years along with equity adjustments for longevity prior to the initial 2% being figured ($500 after 10 years, $900 after 15 years, and $1250 after 20 years.) The Employer agreed to maintain status quo percentages for health insurance premiums for the duration of the Agreement.  The overtime procedure was better defined and reduced to writing. Specialty pay and Detective/Sergeant compensation was enhanced. The Negotiating Team consisted of Al Holocker, Jake Evans, and Joe Holt.  They unselfishly spent several of their regular days off and accrued benefit time to negotiate on behalf of their membership. They were assisted by Field Representatives Shawn Roselieb and Mike Powell.
