Admist turmoil when their Village leadership was under investigation by the State Police, there was a delay in getting to the negotiation table.  However, under a new Chief and Village President the team accomplished some very major improvements to their contract incorporating a trial 12-hour shift in to their Agreement, expanding residency, improving holiday pay and increasing wages by 6% over the two years of this Agreement.  Labor Committee Chairman Brian Wilson delivered an excellent result for his members and was assisted by Field Supervisor Jerry Lieb during the negotiations.
