Congratulations to the Effingham Patrol  unit on the settlement of their most recent contract.  This contract is for 3-years and involved an increase in supervisory pay, additional personal leave time and the inclusion of Voluntary Employee's Beneficiary Association Plan for member's to utilize for their retirement.  In addition, the unit will receive a 9% wage ncrease over the term of the contract.  The unit did agree to an increase in insurance premiums each year of the contract.  Negotiations were held in Effingham, Illinois and were conducted by members; Todd Ebbert, James Dillow, Matthew Sager, Kurt Davis and Thomas Webb. They were assisted by Labor Council Field Representative Dan Bailey.
