For the first time, the unit will have the right to appeal all discipline through the grievance/arbitration provisions of the Agreement. On the major economic term, the bargaining unit members will receive a 2%, 2.5%, 2% increases respectively for each of the three years of the Agreement.  The Employer may opt to reopen insurance for 5/1/17, but then wages will also reopen and cannot be reduced.  Vests will now be paid for entirely by the Employer.  Previously, the Employer paid only 75%.  The K9 officer will receive an additional one hour per day compensation.  The members of the bargaining team were Sergeant Gary Luke, and Officerrs Christopher Mieszczak, Mark Bugajske, and Seth Brown.
