For the first time, the unit will have the right to appeal all discipline through the grievance/arbitration provisions of the Agreement. On the major economic term, the bargaining unit members will receive a 2%, 2.5%, 2% increases respectively for each of the three years of the Agreement. The Employer may opt to reopen insurance for 5/1/17, but then wages will also reopen and cannot be reduced. Vests will now be paid for entirely by the Employer. Previously, the Employer paid only 75%. The K9 officer will receive an additional one hour per day compensation.
