By Jerry Lieb, Field Representative - Tuesday, August 29, 2017

As reported by the Bargaining Unit Chairman, this was the first time in twenty-five years they reached agreement prior to the start of the fiscal year when they didn't have have to wait from 18 months to two years for back-pay.  Many new economic items were achieved moving command pay from a flat dollar figure to 2.5% above patrol pay for corporals and 5% above patrol pay for sergeants. The unit increased their pay by 9.25% across the board over the four years of the contract.  The bargaining team of Chairman Larry Finfrock, Eric Higgs, Travis Buhnerkempe and David Kinkelaar did an excellent job representing their membership.  Field Supervisor Jerry Lieb assisted the team during negotiations.
