Brothers and Sisters:
As you are probably aware, Governor Pritzker issued a stay at home order today, starting tomorrow, March 21, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. and extending through April 7, 2020. The order requires non-essential businesses to cease operations.
The Labor Council has been constantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we've prepared in the event such an order were to occur.
Thus, starting the beginning of business on Monday, March 23, 2020, and in accordance with the Governor's order, all IL FOP Labor Council employees will be working remotely.
While we won't be in the offices, we will all continue to work around the clock to ensure that your needs are met during this most trying time. During regular business hours, 8:00 am-4:30 pm M-F, all calls to our Western Springs office 708-784-1010 and Springfield office 217-698-9433 will continue to be answered as normal. After hours, our 24/7 EMERGENCY hotline, 1-877-IFOP-911 (1-877-436-7911) will remain fully operational. As always we will be monitoring our cell phones and emails regularly.
Our world might seem to be changing, but our service to you will remain unwavering. Our mission is clearer than ever- "Protect those who protect us."
Thank you for all that you are doing to keep us safe and healthy during these very difficult times. You truly are heroes!
Please, do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything these upcoming days and weeks.
